Position: Senior Specialist – Public Policy, Risk & Strategy (Hybrid – Full Time)

The client is an international information and communication technologies company. Candidates should have a strong understanding of Latin American politics. The Senior Specialist will be responsible for leading and coordinating team members to prepare high-quality deliverables. A self-motivated team player will thrive in this role.

Your responsibilities on the Public Policy, Risk, and Strategy team will include:

  • Design, develop, and implement strategic initiatives aligned with our client’s objectives.
  • Develop and help execute engagement strategies with international organizations, civil bodies, industry chambers, and other pertinent political entities within the Latin American regulatory landscape.
  • Monitor and support the client policy team in implementing high-impact projects in collaboration with international organizations.
  • Map and report key regional events that should be attended and/or monitored, prioritize, and build the client’s participation agenda.
  • Identify global regulatory trends, and anticipate opportunities and challenges to the interests of Cefeidas Group clients.



To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Keen interest and knowledge of Latin American politics.
  • Experience working with international bodies, civil organizations, industry chambers, and other political stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication skills in both English and Spanish, along with strong teamwork abilities.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and a proven ability to see tasks through to completion.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, managing multiple work assignments concurrently.
  • Advanced research, writing, and editing skills.
  • Flexibility and a proactive willingness to learn.

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field (international relations, political science, economics, public policy, journalism, etc.)
  • Advanced English (reading, writing, speaking)
