On May 15, our Managing Director, Juan Cruz Díaz, shared his insights in an article by the Financial Times on the Milei administration’s announcement of tightening Argentina’s immigration rules.
Díaz noted that this announcement was made by President Milei’s spokesperson, Manuel Adorni, “to appeal to conservative voters in Buenos Aires ahead of Sunday’s closely watched local elections, in which he is the main candidate for Milei’s La Libertad Avanza party.” adding that “La Libertad Avanza is trying to beat out centre-right parties for dominance of the rightwing vote,”
