Cefeidas Group is honored to have supported the Government of the City of Buenos Aires throughout the planning and execution stages of the C40 World Mayors Summit, which took place in the City from October 19-21. Climate experts gathered alongside the world’s leading mayors, including host Horacio Rodríguez Larreta (Buenos Aires), Sadiq Khan (London), Anne Hidalgo (Paris), Claudia Lopez (Bogota), Eric Garcetti (Los Angeles) and Ada Colau (Barcelona), among many others, in Buenos Aires last week under the slogan “United in Action”.
The 2022 Summit produced commitments to create more than 50 million green jobs by 2030 and increase green financing for Global South cities. It also saw the launch of the Declaration of Argentine Cities, an agreement aimed at promoting coordinated urban climate action in Argentina, and the Business and Climate Change Advisory Group in the City of Buenos Aires.
