Cefeidas Group responds to G20/OECD Principles of Corporate Governance consultation

Cefeidas Group is glad to have participated in the Public Consultation on the Draft Revisions to the G20/OECD Corporate Governance Principles. As a strong supporter of the G20/OECD Principles of Corporate Governance, we understand the importance of this review to update the G20/OECD Corporate Governance framework in order to better align the principles with the new challenges of the post-pandemic era and with the increasing technological developments and also in view promoting openness to a broader vision with the stakeholders.

Cefeidas Group commented on the following four priority areas: the management of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risks, the growth of new digital technologies and emerging opportunities and risks, crisis and risk management, and the role of board committees.

We would also like to thank Fundación FLOR, with whom we presented a separate paper on a fifth priority area which is gender diversity on corporate Boards and in senior management.

We welcome this consultation space, which opens up the debate and thus helps regulators and entities to improve and strengthen their corporate governance practices.
