Managing Director interviewed about Argentina’s primary election results

On September 16, managing director of Cefeidas Group, Juan Cruz Díaz, was interviewed by the Americas Society / Council of the Americas (AS/COA) on Argentina’s legislative primary election results.

The conversation focused on the factors behind the governing coalition’s loss, the impact of lower-than-usual voter turnout and the pressures on President Alberto Fernández to make cabinet changes in the wake of the defeat. Díaz also gave outlook ahead of the November 14 general elections, and spoke about how a repeat result would impact dynamics in the national Congress.
