In an article published by Bloomberg on November 13, managing director of Cefeidas Group, Juan Cruz Díaz, was quoted discussing the political challenges Brazil’s president elect, Jair Bolsonaro, may face in the renegotiation of Mercosur, a trade pact between Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay.
“The political barriers in Argentina are high,” says Juan Cruz Diaz, director of political consulting firm Cefeidas Group in Buenos Aires. “How much political capital is Bolsonaro willing to spend?”
