Their presentation, “Argentina’s political landscape: the challenging road to prosperity,” explored the economic reforms implemented by the administration of President Mauricio Macri; regional differences and dynamics between the federal and provincial governments; the importance of unions in Argentina; and the impact of the upcoming mid-term elections in October on the current political environment. They answered questions about labor conflict and the internal dynamics of the Peronist party ahead of the elections.
