Cefeidas Group’s Managing Director Santiago Chaher, in his capacity as Co-Director of the University of San Andres (UdeSA) Corporate Governance Program, will speak on Monday September 19 at the launch of a book authored by UdeSA Law Professor Ramiro Salvochea.
The book, titled “Markets & Good Governance: The Revolution of Corporate Governance,” evaluates corporate governance in Argentina. It analyzes aspects like the integration and remuneration of directors and their responsibilities, the passive role of public company shareholders and corporate social responsibility.
Joined by International Finance Corporation (IFC) Corporate Governance Latin American and the Caribbean Program Manager Oliver Orton, Santiago will discuss the state of corporate governance in Latin America.
The event is jointly coordinated by the Corporate Governance Program and the Master in Business Law within the UdeSA Law Department.
