Cefeidas Group at AS-COA Conference
Cefeidas Group’s Managing Director Juan Cruz Díaz, in his capacity as Special Advisor to the President of the Americas Society/Council of the Americas (AS-COA) Susan Segal, led the organization of “Argentina: Economic and Political Perspectives”, an annual event held as part of the Council’s series of Latin American Cities Conferences.
Over 1000 government officials, local governors and private sector leaders congregated at the Alvear Palace Hotel in Buenos Aires on August 25 to consider the political and economic outlook in Argentina.
Argentine politicians, including Chief of Cabinet Marcos Peña, Production Minister Francisco Cabrera and Minister of Modernization Andrés Ibarra, discussed the challenges and opportunities they face.
Mayor of the City of Buenos Aires (CABA) Horacio Rodríguez Larreta identified a number of urban development plans as projects that will have a significant impact for the city while a panel discussion saw the Governor of the Province of Buenos Aires María Eugenia Vidal and Governor of the Salta Province Juan Manuel Urtubey discuss their priorities.
