Cefeidas Group’s Managing Directors Santiago Chaher and Juan Cruz Díaz, in their capacity as Co-Directors of the University of San Andres (UdeSA) Corporate Governance Program, have celebrated six months since the program’s launch.

The program was inaugurated at Avances en Gobierno Corporativo en el contexto internacional y su importancia para la Argentina”, a presentation and panel discussion held at UdeSA on March 3.

A presentation from Marcos Ayerra, President of the National Securities Commission in Argentina marked the then newly-appointed official’s first public remarks.

Also speaking at the event were Daniel Blume, Senior Policy Analyst for the Corporate Affairs Division at the OECD and Juan Munguira, Legal Advisor at the National Securities Market Commission in Spain.

Since launching, the program has hosted a panel discussion on startup governance.

In addition, the Corporate Governance Program represents Argentina in the World Bank-OECD Academic Network, where its members research and discuss various topics related to corporate governance. Currently, the program is working on a review about disclosure practices of Company Groups in Latin America, which will be presented as a synthesis report at the OECD Latin American Roundtable on Corporate Governance held in Costa Rica in September.
