In an article written by Chris Noon for Interfax Global EnergyJuan Cruz Díaz from Cefeidas Group was quoted about Argentina’s political situation around Vaca Muerta, the country’s biggest shale formation:

“Juan Cruz Díaz, managing director at Buenos Aires-based advisory firm Cefeidas Group, said the Vaca Muerta shale formation was unlikely to feature on the campaign trail over coming months. “All three candidates have shown themselves to be concerned by the country’s extractive industry, but they won’t make bold statements,” he said. However, Díaz added all three appeared committed to “world-class” development of the shale formation. “There won’t be big changes in regulation come the election. [The candidates know that] the sector needs stability.”
